Camaro SS (2016+) Performance Package Options
(These packages build upon one another — Stage 2 includes everything from Stage 1, etc.)
Naturally Aspirated Packages
Stage 1
- Inclusions:
• Roto-fab Cold air intake
• Mighty mouse mild catch can system
Stage 2
- Inclusions:
• Kooks High-flow long-tube headers + catted X-pipe (ceramic coating optional)
• MSD intake manifold (optionally ported, 95 mm or 103 mm throttle body)
• NGK performance spark plugs
• Baseline dyno pulls + dyno tuning
• Optional: Flex-fuel kit (enables tuning for 91 → E85; ~25-30 rwhp gain typically)
Stage 3
- Inclusions:
• Camshaft kit (Which cam depends on transmission, intended use of the vehicle, desired characteristics)
• Valve spring & retainer upgrade
• Chromoly pushrods
• VVT lockout or limiter (based on cam)
• DOD / AFM delete kit using Johnson lifters
• Head studs or ARP head bolts
• Upgraded LME LTX chain guide & C5R timing chain
• All OEM GM gaskets
• Trunnion upgrades
• Driven oil, wix filter, gm coolant, coolant booster
• TCM unlock (for auto 2017+ models)
• Dyno tuning
• Optional: Ported heads, torque converter upgrade (for autos), flex-fuel system
Stage 4
- Inclusions or options vary depending on customer goals
• Built engine (e.g. 416 cu / 427 cu)
• Ported cylinder heads
• Torque converter upgrade (auto)
• Flex fuel, LT4 fuel system depending on power goal
• All necessary tuning & calibration
Forced Induction Packages
Stage 1 (Blown / Supercharged)
- Inclusions:
• Blower / supercharger kit (e.g. Magnuson or or Procharger)
• Mighty mouse Catch can
• LS9 map sensor
• NGK 6510 spark plugs
• TCM unlock (for 2017+ autos)
• Dyno tuning + baseline pulls
Stage 2
- Kooks longtube headers with GESI high flow cats
- If procharger equipped optional MSD intake manifold
Stage 3
- Fuel system upgrades to support flex fuel- which components depends on goal and future mod plans.
Stage 4
- Build involves:
• Cam & valvetrain upgrades
• DOD / AFM delete
• Supporting hardware (gaskets, chain components, etc.)
• Flex-fuel, fuel system supporting mods
• Full dyno tuning
Stage 5+
- Custom builds depending on supporting mods, target power goals, etc.
