CPR’s Tuner Nic D’s 09 Z06

We had one mission with this car. Run a 7 on the stock ECU and show what was possible with a true street car combo. This car has full exhaust out the back, AC, and a full interior (minus different seats). No dump tubes sticking out anywhere, oem front brakes, oem cradles, power steering, radio, etc. To achieve this took careful planning and a lot of testing to achieve the right boost ramp with limited control. Unlike an aftermarket ecu where we can build in a nice curve based on many parameters. The OEM ecu just doesn’t give you that option, so lots of testing was needed to achieve this. Now that it is dialed in the car is extremely consistent wherever it goes. This build consist of the following.

-LME 427 engine: LSR block, Brodix BR7 heads, LME intake manifold, solid roller

-RPM glide & 9” combo w/ a Neil chance converter

-Fore innovations fuel system w/ ID1700X injectors

-Menscer coil overs

-15” conversion w/ spherical bushings in the rear & LG drag sway bar

-CPR air to water and low mount turbo setup using precision twin 68’s.

-RPM 8.5 cage with twin Tillet carbon seats

-CPR race breather tank, prospeed fans, dewitts radiator, flex fuel kit, drag wing, weld rear wheels, forgeline skinnies

-Best pass to date 7.8 @ 176 at Tucson drag

-Stock GM coils, Stock GM PCM
