C6 Z06

The Z06 is a very potent combo with it’s low weight and massive NA engine. These vehicles have huge potential to be extremely fast at a hp level lower then other chassis because of their incredible HP to weight ratio. Through our many years of development we have put together a package that not only addresses the very real and common valve drop issue on the OEM exhaust valves but drives extremely nice and runs a time at the drag strip or half mile. If road racing is your thing we can modify these to fit those customers needs and do so on a regular basis.   • Alpha Level 1 Typical gains 100-110 rwhp over stock
    • WCCH modified OEM cylinder heads includes the following
      • Stage 2 CNC porting, .660 spring kit with titanium retainers and new valve seals, new bronze valve guides, tumble polish oem titanium intake valves, replace oem exhaust valve with one piece stainless unit, mill to desired cc
    • CPR Alpha camshaft (retains smooth low speed drivability, no loss in low end tq, and aggressive idle)
    • Johnson 2110 lifters, new gm lifter trays, 3/8 chromoly pushrods, arp head bolts, oem gm head gaskets, gm cam gasket kit, C5 R timing chain, ATI harmonic balancer, ARP crank bolt, BTR trunion kit, arp cam gear bolts
    • Mighty mouse wild catch can
    • ARH 2” headers with high flow catted x pipe (optional ceramic coating available and elite engineering tunnel plate)
    • NGK spark plugs
    • Airaid cold air intake
    • Amsoil fluids
    • Dyno tune with baseline before work begins
  • Alpha Stage 2 typical gains 25-30 rwhp over stage 1
    • Adds the following
    • MSD intake manifold
    • katech 103 mm throttle body
  • Alpha Stage 3 typical gains 12-18 rwhp over stage 2
    • Walbro 450 fuel pump with upgraded wiring harness
    • FIC 60lb injectors
    • DSX flex fuel kit
  • Alpha Stage 4
    • Monster lt-1s twin disc clutch: includes new gm slave cylinder, pilot bearing, remote bleeder, billet support bearing
    • DSS poly torque tube couplers and bearings
    • ECS diff/trans brace
    • Pfadt Diff mounts

Optional Beta cam package available: Will have some low speed drivability loss but this cam has trapped 171-173 in a standing half mile in AZ and trapped 140-141 in the 1/4 mile full weight in AZ.

Optional hardcore package available that drops 150-200 lbs and retains AC.

Additional NA packages available that include 440-468 cu size engines.

Forced induction packages: The LS7 engine is still completely fine to add forced induction and we routinely do so and comfortably take stock bottom end LS7’s to 7-750 rwhp. For those not wanting to go the NA path

  • Stage 1

  • Stage 2
    • American racing longtube headers with high flow catted x pipe
      • Optional high temp ceramic coating and elite engineering tunnel plate available
  • Stage 3
    • CPR Spec camshaft, chromoly 3/8 chromoly pushrods
    • GM cam gasket kit
    • C5R timing chain
    • Innovators west 10% overdriven balancer
    • Optional methanol injection kit available
  • Stage 4
    • CPR Fuel system upgrade (depends on final goal on what exactly is spec’d)
    • ID1050x injectors or larger depending on final goal
    • DSX flex fuel sensor
    • Monster LT1-s clutch (twin or triple depending on final goal)
    • DSS torque tube couplers and new bearings
      • Optional ECS trans/diff brace

Race packages available: include but are not limited to the following.

  • LSR Aluminum, LSX iron, or Noonan billet block
  • F1X race package with CPR air to water intercooler, or CPR twin low mount turbo kit or top mount depending on power goal
  • RPM transmission face plated transmission and ZR1 diff or powerglide/9” conversion
  • ECU standalone Haltech or Motec depending on overall goal.

We have proven race packages capable of upper 7 to low 8 sec quarter mile times with full interior and working ac. Faster packages available beyond these.
