CPR 2016+ Camaro diff brace Zl1 & SS, 2015+ CTSV

Description

Being avid drag racers and building many of these cars for customers over the years we found a major flaw in the way GM mounted the differential on these cars. Even with all the tricks of doing solid diff bushings, and an ARP crank bolt for the back bolt, the diff still tries to drive the pinion up on big power hard launches. This can cause the rear bolt to break and send the driveshaft into the body setting off all of the air bags inside the car.

We solved this by developing a diff brace that adds an additional mount to hold the diff pinion straight. We 3d scanned the car to ensure a 100% perfect fitment with our CNC cut diff cover brace. With the extremely strong provided heim joint you then attach it to the cnc cut mount that you can either weld or bolt to the cradle (we recommend welding and is how we do it here)

The heim joint selected has a 16,100 static radial load, this is the major factor in the overall cost of the kit but we wanted nothing but the strongest setup as it’s far cheaper than a new cradle or air bags.
